Oakley and Bella’s pups were born December 29, 2022. Mid-woof Leo safely delivered 9 pups, 5 males and 4 females, all wavy, black and brown babies.

Oakley is American NBISS (Portuguese Water Dog Club of America National Specialty winner for 2022) CH/ CKC CH Seabury Vulcan Cool Shades. He’s a two year old wavy black boy. Oakley is a very fine example of PWD breed type, the Specialty Judge Denise Dean remarked “Best of Breed was a wonderful sound moderate dog in total balance, with a beautiful strong full muzzle and in wonderful condition”.

His health testing is complete with good hips and clear for PRA-cd, EOPRA, GM-1, JDCM, IC and CAER.

Bella  is CKC CH Seabury’s Brown Eyed Girl. She is fully tested per PWDCC and PWDCA health recommendations for hip/elbow x-rays, PRA-cd, EOPRA, GM-1, JDCM, IC and CAER. She is clear from simple recessive conditions listed above. Hips are excellent, elbows normal.

Bella is a wavy brown dog, Irish marked (white collar, blaze on her head, white paws) and as expected we have black and brown pups with a variety of white markings. Oakley is a sweet, happy boy who loves to work, training in Rally Obedience, and Bella is an affectionate girl, both have the typical PWD exuberance and joie de vie. Excellent prospects for show and performance dogs.
